Associate Attorneys:
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognized university, a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) of the Council of Legal Education, a certificate of enrollment for the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago, a valid practicing certificate of the Supreme Court or evidence of having satisfied eligibility of practicing certificate.
Law School Interns (In-service trainees):
Appropriate letters/notifications from one of the Council of Legal Education’s three (3) law schools.
Summer Interns (Individuals who are seeking experience in a legal firm):
Five (5) CXC O’Level passes, Mathematics and English compulsory. Certificate of Computer Literacy. No experience necessary, we provide on the job training for successful applicants.
Legal Research Officers:
A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, Five (5) CXC O’Levels, Mathematics and English compulsory, Certificate of Computer Literacy.
Legal Assistants:
Five (5) CXC O’Levels, Mathematics and English Compulsory, Certificate of Computer Literacy, proficient in typing and general office skills.
Clerks:
CXC passes in Mathematics and English, knowledge of Port of Spain and environs/ a Driver’s License/ Vehicle in good condition will be considered an asset.
